Tracie Holder
Tracie Holder is a Program Consultant for Women Make Movies' Production Assistance Program. She works with fiscally sponsored filmmakers to fine tune funding proposals, screen cuts and provide fundraising advice. She is also co-producer/director and writer of Joe Papp In Five Acts, a co-production with PBS/American Masters. For this project, Holder was awarded funding from numerous sources, including the NEA, NEH, NYSCA, NYCH, Foundation for Jewish Culture, The Sulzberger Foundation, CPB, PBS/American Masters, ITVS, The J.M. Kaplan Fund and The LuEsther Mertz Charitable Trust, among others. In the past month, she was awarded an individual artist grant from the AEV Foundation.
Beyond PAPP, Holder is a former board member of New York Women in Film & Television, and Manhattan Neighborhood Network; a guest lecturer for numerous film organizations and universities. Her next project is UNDY(E)ING, a humorous, short film about American attitudes towards aging as seen through the prism of grey hair. This past December, Holder completed a Masters of Science in Non-Profit Management at NYU's Wagner School of Public Service.
