KATHRYN WASHINGTON


Kathryn Washington joined ITVS in 2004. As program manager for Research and Development, she manages commissioned projects as well as the Diversity Development Fund, working closely with funded producers, giving feedback and support through the development period. She also assists in the ITVS mentorship program by finding mentors for funded producers who need additional support. Washington is also an award-winning public radio producer whose essays and features have been heard nationally. Prior to working at ITVS, she was Director of Operations for the National Federation of Community Broadcasters. She completed her first film with a grant from the San Francisco Film Arts Foundation.
