HITN seeks a Current Affairs Producer with a minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in journalism.

- Proven record of producing news/current affairs short and long formats for Online and Television

- The role requires ability to write engaging and accurate copy quickly

- Passion for the world of visual media and narrative storytelling is a must

- The candidate should have a high-level knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud Editing Suite, After Effects, file-based production workflows, on camera interview techniques, well as camera technology, lighting and audio

- Interviews and selects production staff and cast principals from outside talent

- Outlines program to be produced to production & programing staff and evaluates finished script Composes or edits program script to meet management or other requirements

- Coordinates various aspects of production such as audio work, scenes, music, timing, camera work, and script writing

- Gives introductions to production & programming staff to schedule broadcast and to develop and coordinate details to obtain desired production. Reviews production to ensure objectives and quality control are attained

- Views taped program to select scenes to be used for promotional purposes
