Terry’s Picks: Super Girls, NYWIFT Pride, SWAN Day

Super girls: Marvel Studios launched a national contest that invites girls in grades 10 through 12 to create science or technology projects that “could make the world a better place.”

NYWIFT pride: This a great profile on actor-writer-director-producer Erica Fae who, like so many of her fellow NYWIFT members, is a multi-talented artist creating her own work.

SWAN Day: Save the date for our annual Support Women Artists Now (SWAN) Day celebration on Saturday, March 26th at 2 PM. We’ll screen BadDDD Sonia Sanchez, about the poet, playwright, activist and seminal figure in the 1960s Black Arts Movement, followed by a Q&A and a reception.
