|
How much money do you need to make your movie? How much time? It’s important that you make every dollar count. In this two-part series, veteran independent film producer Richard Guay will take you through the scheduling and budgeting process using Movie Magic software:
Note: You can attend one workshop without attending the other. Richard Guay is Vice President of East Coast Marketing and Sales for Entertainment Partners, makers of EP Budgeting and Movie Magic budgeting software. He has worked in the film industry for 25 years as a producer, writer, studio executive, assistant director, production manager, post supervisor and accountant. Guay produced True Love, winner of the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance, as well as Kinsey, Dogfight, Household Saints, Subway Stories and Ghost Dog, among other films. NYWIFT programs, screenings and events are supported, in part, by grants from New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council, and New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
