Crowdfunding Spotlight:
Crick in the Holler

NYWIFT member Kiera Kyoto Lewis is producing Crick in the Holler, and has launched an Indiegogo campaign for finishing funds for the film. Set in rural West Virginia, Crick in the Holler tells the story of two sisters who navigate the spill's toxic effects on their family and community in January 2014, when chemical spill in West Virginia's Elk River left over 300,000 residents without clean water for a week. Inspired by true events.

Your contribution will go towards payment of our post-production team, including our editor, colorist, sound designer, GFX and VFX artists, and titles designer. It will also go towards live score recording, licensing fees for music and video content, submissions to film festivals around the world, and the film's eventual distribution.

The deadline to donate is April 25.
