NYWIFT Virtual Hangout with Latino Public Broadcasting (LPB)

Gather together online with your NYWIFT colleagues at our next virtual speed networking mixer. We will be joined by our friends at Latino Public Broadcasting in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month! Come ready to share creative ideas, suggestions, and contact info for further engagement.

The hour-long event will be broken up into smaller chunks of time, during which you will be randomly paired off with other attendees to network one-on-one.

NYWIFT Summer Hangout – Speed Networking Beach Party

As we face 2020 head on, the NYWIFT Night Out has become, temporarily, The NYWIFT Night In! 

We're excited to launch our inaugural virtual speed networking event and invite you to join us for the NYWIFT Summer Hangout online beach party. Decorate your quarantine space with a tropical theme, wear your floppiest beach hat and cutest shades, and join your fellow NYWIFT members on Zoom as we celebrate summer as best we can!

NYWIFT Night Out with Prime Latino Media

Are you a member of this great organization? Interested in becoming one? Join us for our monthly NYWIFT Night Out! This month we will be joined by our friends at Prime Latino Media for an extra special night of networking. For eight years, Prime Latino Media has been the largest network spanning the East Coast to the Caribbean of independent Latino multimedia-makers, actors and musicians in bilingual Latino and mainstream media, digital and entertainment. They conduct monthly networking events as PRIME LATINO MEDIA Salón. One of their five programs is the Estela Institute devoted to independent Latina multimedia-makers, actresses and musicians. NYWIFT Season Kickoff…On the Road to the Emmy’s at the Museum of the Moving Image

It’s time for one of the most popular events of the year – the Annual NYWIFT Season Kickoff celebrating our fabulous members! Raise a glass to toast the 2019-2020 programming season and welcome new Board President Jamie Zelermyer and our newly elected board members, followed by an intimate conversation with several of the Emmy nominees we are proud to call part of the NYWIFT community. Catch up with your NYWIFT friends (and make some new ones!) as you mingle at the Museum of the Moving Image before we move into the theater for a panel discussion. A diverse mix of nominees - representing the wide array of professions that make up the NYWIFT community - will offer behind-the-scenes insight into some of this year's most celebrated television programs: Senior Associate Producer Brittany Clemons (Outstanding Research, Hope & Fury: MLK, the Movement and the Media – NBC), Producers Stacey L. Holman and Cyndee Readdean (Outstanding Historical Documentary, Tell Them We Are Rising: The Story of Black Colleges and Universities – PBS), and Costume Designer Melissa Toth (Outstanding Costume Design, Fosse/Verdon – FX).
