Amanda Kay Cook is a Brooklyn based writer, actor, and model. Her comedy writing focuses on telling femme and queer stories. Amanda has gained select acting credits including: Buzzfeed_x0019_s Expensive Vs. Bargain Full-Coverage Concealer (over 11 million views), a tour with Hudson Shakespeare Company's Coriolanus (Menenius), and EVA (Margo) at Manhattan Rep. Theater. As a founding member of Unit 14 Theater Company in Chicago, IL, Amanda has been featured in Grounded (Pilot), Red (Mark Rothko), and The Watson Intelligence (Eliza). Her work with Unit 14 has been promoted in the Chicago Sun-Times and the Chicago Tribune. Amanda's modeling can be seen in Vogue Italia (Oct. 2019), GirlGaze (May 2020), and CuratedbyGIRLS (June 2020). Amanda has associated with New York theatre companies such as Pocket Universe (dir. Alyssa May Gold), and The Muse Project (dir. Katie Pearl). Theater BA: University of Southern California.
