Nancy Rosenthal is the Founder and Executive Director of the New York WILD Film Festival. NY WILD showcases documentaries that probe

important conservation and environmental issues, new views of wildlife behavior, and cutting edge exploration and adventure.



Her extensive and successful career in filmmaking includes producing many award-winning films about natural history, science, and conservation for National Geographic. After National Geographic her

independent film work shifted to include films about social issues and the arts. The independent film Last Dance she worked on was shortlisted for an Academy Award. As a member of New York Women in Film and Television she has produced numerous events about documentary filmmaking with top filmmakers to educate and inspire members at all career levels. Nancy has served as a juror for numerous festivals including Trento Film Festival, Nantucket Film Festival, the Hamptons Film Festival and the International Emmy Awards.
