Amy Rapp is an Emmy-winning creative producer and head of Meredith Vieira Productions and her own Amy Rapp Productions, developing and producing narrative features, documentary features, and TV series. Her credits include RETURN, starring Linda Cardellini and Michael Shannon, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival; the critically-acclaimed, Emmy-nominated feature documentary THE WOMAN WHO WASN T THERE; a national tour and live album of the hit Off-Broadway show LIFE IN A MARITAL INSTITUTION called never less than excellent by The NY Times; and TOWER, which world premiered at the SXSW Film Festival winning Best Documentary on its way to being shortlisted for the Oscars. She is currently in post-production on her next feature documentary called A DESPERATE MAN. Amy is also leading an initiative in partnership with This Is Just A Test Media that supports female- directed documentary projects. Amy was a fellow of Trans Atlantic Partners and received her BFA from NYU s Tisch School of the Arts. She was born and raised in New York City.
