Susan M. Sipprelle is a documentary filmmaker and founder of Tree of Life Productions, producer of the award-winning documentary Set for Life and the online project Over 50 and Out of Work. She is currently producing Soldier On: Life After Deployment about women veterans.



Susan has appeared on CNN and ABC News at Work with Tory Johnson and has been interviewed on CBS News and Growing Bolder radio shows about Set for Life and Over 50 and Out of Work, which have also been featured in the New York Times, NextAvenue.org, the Huffington Post, the Wall Street Journal Digital Network SmartMoney.com, The Nation, Forbes.com and the Oregonian. In June 2011, Susan testified before the U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pension Committee about the project. Susan writes a regular column for StayThirsty.com and has also published articles in the Huffington Post, NextAvenue.org and The New York Times.
