Kerri Gawryn is an award-winner film director, writer and producer.

Full Bio
Kerri Gawryn is from the California Bay Area where she directed and produced two award-winning documentary _x0001_lms. She completed her graduate studies at San Francisco State University and for her thesis project produced and directed EXPOSING HOMELESSNESS, a 22-minute documentary, that chronicled the experiences of three formerly homeless women as they learned to express themselves and educate others about homelessness through the art of photography. EXPOSING HOMELESSNESS won the Best Local Voice award from the San Francisco Women_x0019_s Film Festival, was selected as SF Weekly_x0019_s Pick of the Week, and was prominently featured in the San Francisco Chronicle. In 2007, Gawryn began work on A LOVELY DAY, a documentary that follows nine Oakland youth immersed in a six-month Hip-Hop music therapy workshop. In 2013, the film screened to a sold-out crowd at the historic Grand Lake Theatre, followed by its festival premiere at the 44th Nashville Film Festival, where it won the 2013 NAHCC Best Hispanic Intere
