Kat is an award winning documentarian and cinematographer. Her work has aired on HBO, PBS, ABC News, National Geographic, Discovery, A&E, TLC, MTV and been commissioned by the UN and the Global Fund. As a storyteller she has worked alone or in collaboration with individuals, communities, sociologists, activists, non profits, brands and production companies.





She has been working in the documentary film and television industry for over 16 years, as a senior producer at New York Times Television (Maternity Ward Series/TLC); a producer and cameraperson on several ABC News series (NYPD 24/7, Boston 24/7,Hopkins 24/7, The Jury Room and Nascar in Primetime); and a producer at Granada USA (The 1st 48). She was a field producer and cameraperson for National Geographic (Worlds Apart, Taboo and Crisis Zone); NBC News (Ship at War); and she was nominated for 2 Emmy Awards for Best Documentary Cinematography on Love Crimes of Kabul (HBO) and 12th and Delaware (HBO).
