Paula Cajiao is an Award-Winning filmmaker born and raised in Cali, Colombia. She moved to the United States at the age of sixteen. After graduating high school, she joined the US Army serving four and half years of active duty, one OIF 08-09.

Paula was recently awarded by NYWIFT alongside SOHO International Film Festival the "Excellence in Directing" award for her latest short Award-Winning film "Shell Shocked" winner of Best Actor at G.I. Her two previous short films; “Rosie” and “Señorita” have recently completed their respective successful festival runs at international film festivals incl.

Paula is currently working on her Freshman Film "Let There Be Light", the story of the struggles of a female veteran's journey into a psychedelic treatment that reveals her ghosts.
