Barbara Bruni has more than 10 years of experience in production in the Media industry spanning from Feature Films, TV and documentaries. She worked on international coproductions such as Oscar nominated director Ben Sombogaart s Crusade in Jeans and Peter Greenaway s Nightwatching and production managed two factual entertainment shows for Italian broadcaster All Music (now DJ TV). She executive produced the award winning documentary Fughe e Approdi by Giovanna Taviani (Special Event at the Venice Film Festival 2010, Jury Award at Annecy Cinema Italien 2011, Special Mention at the foreign press Nastri d'argento prize 2011). She produced the low budget feature L Ultima Foglia by Leonardo Frosina (RIFF - Rome Independent Film Festival 2013, Raindance Film Festival 2013) and the short film Spring Summer by John Lindquist (Cannes Short Film Corner 2013). Barbara is interested in new audiovisual production and distribution models, and has created industry events on the subject for the MedFilm Festival in Rome and was a juror for first and second features at the Isola del Cinema Festival in Rome 2011, as well as on the selection committee for Your Film Festival, organised by Scottfree, Youtube and the Venice Film Festival 2012. Since June 2015 she consults as an expert for the EU's audiovisual funding programme Creative Europe, evaluating funding applications. The most recent project she has been involved with, as associate producer and production manager, is Milcho Manchevski s feature Bikini (currently in post production), shot on location in NYC and starring Condola Rashad.
