Susan Kouguell, award-winning screenwriter and filmmaker, is the author of SAVVY CHARACTERS SELL SCREENPLAYS and THE SAVVY SCREENWRITER. Susan teaches screenwriting at Purchase College, SUNY, and film at Pratt Institute,



She is a Senior Contributing editor for Script Magazine where she covers film festivals and filmmaker profiles. Since 1990 Susan serves as chairperson of her screenplay and post-production consulting company: Su-City Pictures East, LLC
