I am a native New Yorker who grew up in Queens, never thinking that a job in the film business was an option for me. I loved the movies but saw no role models that gave me the impression that this was an achievable goal. A chance opportunity in college led me to switch majors and pursue radio and television.
When I returned NYC, looked for work and found the beginnings of my career in advertising. Each job leveled-up to the next phase of production management Using the marketing skills from corporate advertising, I was able to bring those skills to the increasing growth of the music video production.
As that industry increased so did my visability and viability in production management and marketing. It brought me to EP with the director Paris Barclay and then to Def Jam as VP of Artist Development and Video Production. My years at Def Jam prepared me for
