Born and raised in Washington, DC, Alexandra was brought up in the multicultural epicenter of the U.S. Alexandra's ideals and beliefs were formed by parents who traveled the world for social causes, by creating and funding programs that supported women's innovations to create and sustain businesses in third world countries. Alexandra got into the film world in her late teens, strongly persuaded by her mother, and then returned to the field, again, in early 2019.

The impact of her parents' work made an impression on Alexandra, bridging her appreciation and love, for both social causes and filmmaking, together. With resourcefulness, a technical background and determination, she has been working to produce stories that shift the lens toward content that connect the spaces between reality and surrealism.

In early 2020, Alexandra and her partner, Andre Bellamy, opened a minority-owned, female-led production company, Lexicon Media Productions, in the Washington, DC area. They are a full service production house that offers narrative, commercial and documentary content. They have produced and wrapped their first short film, [un]Ravel, and are currently working on producing and directing their first feature-length documentary- Tru Skool (Working Title). Past contributions include working with Culture House and CNN.

When she is not producing, she is managing productions, reading, traveling, spending time outdoors, or whatever sane activity that can be managed during these weird times.
