Cloe King is a former Communications Intern for NYWIFT. She got her start in acting, and studied at NYU and PACE University through SOCAPA (School of Creative and Performing Arts). She then went on to later teach acting for film with the program. After studying acting throughout her childhood she fell in love with production and produced her first short film Whiskey Soda. She continued her education at The State University of New York College at Cortland where she helped create and implement the Media Production program at SUNY Cortland. In December 2020, she was the first person to graduate with a B.S in Media Production, as well as double minoring in Communications Studies and Cinema Study. She has been a leading member of the Blackbird Film Festival since 2019 and is currently a Social Director and Profilm Submission Judge for the festival. Her dream is to make an impact in the industry and to help empower other women in the new age of film and television. #WomeninFilm
