Eli is focused on bringing better representation,and fighting misrepresentations,of minorities on the screen. Her areas of expertise are film programming,distribution,exhibition & production.
She's an IP Lawyer from ITESM, there she became part of Phi Delta Phi serving as its Commissioner of Honor & Justice.
Eli founded Splinter Pictures,La Filmadora (NY),Numina (Mx),production and distribution companies championing artistic & culturally authentic films.
Her film "Still the earth moves"(2017) is considered as one of the best films of the year by the British Film Institute Sight&Sound.
She is part of the shorts programming team at AFI Fest & Tribeca;of the board of Cinematográfica y Escénica de México,a LatAm NPO;and is the Executive Programming Director of Latitudes Cinema a NYC microcinema bringing together diverse filmmakers and their communities.
