Full Bio
Most recently, Amy Poux produced Seth Zvi Rosenfeld's (“Them” Amazon, “The Get Down”/Netflix) feature, "Sunday at Il Posto Accanto" (To be released in 2022) and is in development for his feature, “Summer with Diane”.
In 2019 Poux wrote/directed "Do Nothings", a short film about a gender-queer teen and in 2020 made the film’s sequel, "I’m Okay". In pandemic times she pivoted to direct the Zoom teleplays "WEIrD" and "Zoom School", as well as creating a number of Zoom improv programs for adults and youth.
As Director of Education, Film at Lincoln Center, Poux designed/oversaw the Education division, benefiting more than 2000 students annually. Poux later co- designed the film crew Boot Camps at Mary-Stuart Masterson’s Stockade Works.
As a former actress, Poux worked in NYC theater performing at Manhattan Class Company, WestBeth Theatre, Angel Theatre, City Center, Theatre for the New City, Greenwich Street Theatre, Playwrights Horizons, and worked with the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, as well as TV writing
