Coordinator, Playlisting and Streaming Marketing

Key Responsibilities & Essential Role Functions:
Research & Data
- Conduct streaming analysis across relevant platforms (i.e. song monitoring & tracking, quarterly/annual reports, new artist proposals)
- Track and interpret data to compile reports for clients and others as needed
- Able to read basic analytics and develop creative plans and content ideas in reaction to what the data observed is telling them
Algorithmic Marketing
- Build, maintain and manage artist owned platforms & playlists where applicable (Spotify, YouTube, etc.)
- Work with artist teams to promote thematic playlists across various artist platforms
- Execute artist DSP platform optimization, updates, and campaigns for artist channels (utilizing platforms specific features & tools (i.e.: Spotify for Artist Pick, Pandora Featured Track, etc.)
- Manage Primary Wave company overall playlists
Onboard New Catalogs
- Analysis for pitches
- Audit global DSP’s for any missing songs and albums
General
- Create streaming marketing tools and assets for upcoming titles & key catalog releases
- Develop creative strategies to build song streams, grow followers of artist owned playlists and channels
- Work with digital team on various artist campaign execution
- Assist Director of Streaming with assigned tasks
- Oversee interns as needed
- Nurture & grow relationships within the music streaming platform industry
- Assess new technologies, partners and develop new opportunities
YouTube Platform Marketing & Monetization
- Work with 3<sup>rd</sup> party & distribution monetization companies to optimize channels
- Audit YT platform for all official video content and report missing content for monetization
- Issue video take downs for unauthorized content
- Set up channels for e-commerce and ticketing for applicable artists
- Conduct channel clean up (i.e. create OAC’s, merge/delete duplicate content)
Candidate Must Possess:
- Familiarity with streaming analytics platforms (such as YouTube Studio, Spotify For Artists, etc.)
- 1-2 years’ experience (inclusive of internships) working in the music or entertainment fields, managing digital marketing campaigns and relationships with digital and social partners
- Demonstrated passion for music, live events, social media, lifestyle blogs (discovers new music in interesting ways)
- Reads blogs (tech and entertainment) every day, installs every new app just to try it out
- Must be comfortable working in an environment with many changeable demands and priorities, requiring scheduling flexibility, positive demeanor and a “can do” attitude
- An interest in understanding how content performs, leveraging available platforms and data
- Excellent attention to detail, including grammar and spelling
- Experience in Photoshop, video editing programs (Final Cut Pro, Premiere, etc.), audio editing programs and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) and basic HTML experience is a major bonus
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Able to read and react to trends in the social and online space
- Excited by a collaborative high-volume work environment

- Creative vision and fearless appetite for marketing innovation
- Familiarity with the nuances of music IP management
- Experience speaking directly to artists, songwriters and artist managers
- Strong organizational skills
