Tiny Reparations is a production company that's dedicated to showing how women, people of color and anyone, on the LGBTQIA+ spectrum are the heroes of their own TV shows. We're focused on telling funny AF, complex AF, and honest AF stories that will make you cry laughing while also shining a light on things that make you go hmmm.

The successful candidate will be able to effectively multi-task, have the ability to independently complete departmental administrative projects and react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround. The candidate will also have great attention to detail, have great organization skills and have the ability to switch gears at a moment's notice.


Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the project submission process and upkeep of submission logs

• Development tracking as well as providing notes on submitted pitches, treatments, and episodes.

• Coordinate and interface with other production offices and teams on the production slate

• Liaise with the office manager to make sure everyone is on schedule with tasks as it relates overall

• Conduct research as needed and maintain general tracking of industry players, overall deals, trends and the competitive landscape.

• Maintain development grids and work in helping to select correct talent for specific projects. Keeping talent database up to date and performing industry and creative research.

• Take notes for Head of development during important calls and handle scheduling.

• Willing to attend comedy shows/festivals, loves to read! Books, screenplays, comic books, the news, etc.

• Shadowing and support of creative projects.

• Maintain positive attitude and willingness to be a team player.


Criteria:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree

• Creative thinker with a passion for film, television, art and music

• Interested in the comedy, dramedy space for TV/film

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Positive, proactive and able to consistently exercise great judgment.

• Excellent story skills.

• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.

• Creative problem-solver.

• Previous roles in an a talent agency, management office, film/tv roles and positions are also a plus
