Program Coordinator

Women Make Movies

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 


Day to day administration of the program including handling communication with new applicants and existing Production Assistance Program filmmakers;  

Processing weekly contributions and disbursements;  

Processing and filing applications & contracts;  

Generating donor and grant acknowledgement letters;  

Maintaining the fiscal sponsorship database; 

End of the year reporting and dues management and assisting the finance staff with annual reporting; 

Supporting the webinars and workshop program including working with our marketing staff and partners to promote all aspects of the program, particularly through social media; 

Handling inquiries and providing information to program participants and the general public; 

Preparing content for the monthly newsletter; 

Attend and assist in the orientation of all new Production Assistance Program filmmakers; 

Maintain and update the Production Assistance Program Resource section on the website;  

Conducting research and compiling data; 

Supervising the Production Assistance intern; and 

Other tasks and projects as assigned. 

Required Qualifications: 


Detail-oriented with strong follow-through; 

Ability to prioritize and problem-solve while handling multiple tasks; 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; 

In-depth understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite; 

Technically savvy and undaunted by new software or applications; 

Ability to thrive, multitask, and meet deadlines in a quickly changing environment; 

Flexibility, professionalism, and a positive attitude. 

Sense of humor appreciated; and 

Commitment and experience with feminist film. 

Prior experience with film production and/or fiscal sponsorship a strong plus.
