Public Programs Producer

IFP

The scope of work is the structuring, producing, promoting and
execution of the 5 day Conference, with emphasis on securing talent
and providing programming vision.

Invitation and locking of all Conference Speakers & Keynotes–
panelists, workshop leaders and case studies, etc. – by August 23 (3
weeks from the conference.)

Public Programs is composed of four categories –

Talks – Larger panel discussions 

Direct Access – 1 person training 20-30 participants

Meet the Decision Makers – 20 minutes round robin meetings with
high profile industry talent, 7 filmmakers to 1 industry professional 

Special Events – Screenings, readings, pitch sessions, parties, art
installations etc.

• Develop "Meet the Decision Makers" program, where
conference attendees can meet with industry leaders across
multiple platforms and disciplines.

• Oversee and work in tandem with team to complete all
marketing, web, print publication updates & deliverables. Work
with Registration Coordinator to complete all Speaker
Deliverables (i.e. make sure they register for the event
and are in our IFP system with photos, bios, etc, as well
as taking care of any additional correspondence,
tech/production needs, run-of-show etc.)

• In coordination with the IFP Sales Department, and
CFO, ongoing oversight of ticket & badge sales for
Conference

• Oversee 

  1.  Define tech production needs and alert Production 
  2. Define in room power point signage needs and
    execute with Coordinator 
  3. Define Sponsor logos for each event, coordinate
    with Sales 
  4. Create social media tactics with Marketing
    Department 
  5.  Create run of show for each event
  6. Ensure all panelists are registered in the system
    and have filled out release form
  7. Generate bi-weekly progress report for Producer, IFP
    Week
  8.  Attend volunteer orientations; identify core on site team;
    train volunteer team; set expectations and shifts

On-site


• Oversee registration table


• Address customer service needs at event, relay any important
information to the senior staff

Post-event

• Wrap report which should include any documents or stats that
cannot be found in online system
