NYWIFT’s Designing Women, a leading New York City awards event, honors renowned costume designers, makeup artists and hair stylists in film, television and digital media. Honorees for 2019 are costume designer Michele Clapton (Game of Thrones, The Crown), hair stylist Shunika Terry (Atlanta, Superintelligence, Shaft) and makeup artist Riccie Johnson (60 Minutes, CBS). The Variety Ensemble Award will be presented to the full costume, hair and makeup team of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel . Presenters include Maisel actors Rachel Brosnahan, Caroline Aaron and Marin Hinkle; Atlanta star Zazie Beetz; and CBS’ Lesley Stahl. Comedian/Actor Zainab Johnson will emcee the ceremony.

Proceeds from Designing Women benefit the nonprofit educational programs of New York Women in Film & Television.
