#37: Amy Goodman

By Kathryn O’Kane

Journalist Amy Goodman is the host and executive producer of Democracy Now!, a national, daily, independent, award-winning news program airing on over 1,400 public television and radio stations worldwide.

“I see the media as a huge kitchen table that stretches across the globe and we all sit around and debate and discuss the most important issues of the day: war & peace, life & death and anything less than that is a disservice to a democratic society.”
