True or false? The average 18 to 24 year old American watches two hours of video on her mobile phone each month. False. It's actually three hours and 15 minutes, according to the Nielsen Co.
As content creators contemplate the most miniscule screen of all, plenty of questions arise: What kind of videos are people interested in watching? What are phone carriers looking for? And is anyone making money? Verizon’s Jerrlyn Iwata, MTV Networks’ Megan Wastell, Karol Martesko-Fenster from the Web and mobile platform Babelgum, writer and mobile-content creator Fred Graver and media consultant Gavin McGarry of Jumpwire answer these questions and more.
This conversation will be followed by a special cocktail reception sponsored by the Writers Guild of America East.
