30TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION: The Future of Content Production:
The BIG Mash-Up!

Advances in digital technology have transformed the way content is being created—the result is an exciting whirlpool of media platforms and innovative production styles for television, the internet, mobile devices and beyond. While amateur video production may have built the net, new technological advances are now allowing for better production values, HD programming and immersive narratives that lead audiences among different platforms.

NYWIFT has assembled a panel of players at the forefront of digital media content creation and distribution. They’ll discuss how new content forms are being shaped, then explore how the networks and entertainment companies are embracing new media and the YouTube nation by building cost-effective production models for profitability and increased viewership. They’ll tell you how important production values are now, how producers can plan for multiple screens
and, more importantly, who’s watching all this stuff. The evening will begin with a tech
demonstration of the new HD cameras introduced at NAB.
