NEW YORK WOMEN IN FILM & TELVISION ANNOUNCES
THE NEW 2015-2016 BOARD MEMBERS
NEW YORK, NY – JUNE 8, 2015 – New York Women in Film & Television (NYWIFT) is pleased to announce the results of the 2015 board of directors election. As a nonprofit, 501c3 public charity, NYWIFT is governed by an 18-member board of directors. Board members serve on committees in the areas of Development, Membership, Communications, Programming and Special Events. The board is elected by the membership. Seven spots on the board have been filled, with five new members and two returning members.
“We’re grateful to the departing board members for the time, effort and dedication they put into our organization and we look forward to having this new dynamic and impressive group of women join us,” said NYWIFT Board President Alexis Alexanian. “NYWIFT would never be able to accomplish all that it does without the support of our board members.”
