” ‘Park Buzz’n w/ Rhina’ Unveiling Urban Sanctuaries,” is a captivating television show that explores the transformative power of parks in urban environments. Hosted by the charismatic Rhina Valentín, the show aims to showcase mindful park practices and promote urban healing reflections.

Rhina Valentín
Rhina Valentín is a latiné leader in the entertainment industry. Alongside her roles as a mother, creative, comedienne, producer, director, writer, and dancer, her innate ability to use humor and discuss adversity with honesty has captivated audiences and made her a representative of the values of working-class women- of-color.
Most recently, Rhina was an honored guest at the inaugural Afro-Latino Heritage Celebration at the White House on February 22, 2024, in recognition of her career achievements and her advocacy on behalf of the Latine’ community
Rhina is a fervent Transcendental Meditator and firmly believes that daily stillness is the key to well-being.

Since 2006, Rhina has cultivated relationships and served as the creative producer and host of the popular OPEN Friday talk show on BronxNet TV, earning her recognition as one of the 25 Bronx Influential Women. Through this platform, she has built connections with esteemed institutions like Lincoln Center, where she has created, produced, and hosted the successful series Lincoln Center Presents Latiné Luminaries in the David Rubenstein Atrium , now in its third year.
Beyond her work in entertainment, Rhina is an arts advocate and a Board member for the Bronx Council on The Arts.. She is an activist and motivational speaker, focusing on raising awareness about the dangers of domestic violence.
Her advocacy efforts have been celebrated with a proclamation by Mayor Bloomberg. Because she has promoted mental health awareness through her creative work, she received The Barrio Independent Award in 2022. In 2021, Rhina made history as the first Latina to receive the “Creative New Yorker for New York” title from The Citizens Committee for NYC.
