Lauren Concar (Sheehy) is a senior production specialist, video editor and professional makeup artist. As a videographer, Lauren has written, produced, directed & edited many award-winning television programs for Cablevision, Bloomberg TV, Brookdale TV as well as other companies. /pbrpAs the Executive Director of the Garden State Film Festival Lauren is an advocate of showcasing films worldwide & highlighting work created by women is an inspiration. The GSFF is run mainly by women who lend to one of Lauren's values of women lifting women. The many lives touched through her work in New Jersey and internationally is remarkable.

Concar has shown exemplary community involvement by helping undeserved communities. Over the years, Concar has demonstrated a commitment to the communities through extensive research, workshops, panel discussions and community outreach programs.
