Edward Burns has made 15 feature films, created two television series and has starred in many films, most notably Saving Private Ryan. His latest film as writer-director-actor, The Family McMullen, is a sequel to Burns’ first film The Brothers McMullen, premiered in competition at the 1995 Sundance Film Festival, winning the Grand Jury prize. The film also won “Best First Feature” at the 1996 Independent Spirit Awards. The Family McMullen will premiere on HBO Max this December. His previous film, Millers in Marriage, had its World Premiere at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival. In addition, this December marks the paperback release of Burns’s first novel, A Kid from Marlboro Road, from Seven Stories Press. Ed Burns was born in Woodside, Queens and raised on Long Island. He lives in New York City with his wife and two children.

 

Ellen H. Schwartz has produced and contributed to some of the highest-grossing and beloved films of the last three decades. Schwartz began her career as a DGA trainee working in New York – one of the few women assuming such a role at the time. The first feature film she worked on as a trainee was The Flamingo Kid, which was the start of a 25 year friendship and working relationship with Garry Marshall. Ellen was the Executive Producer on Hightown, which is currently streaming on Netflix. She has been lucky enough to have joined forces with the incredibly talented filmmaker, Edward Burns. Ellen has produced with him: Millers in Marriage, Finnegan’s Foursome and The Family McMullen.

 

Rosemary Lepre Forman is a seasoned television and film Costume Designer based in New York City. A New York Women in Film & Television (NYWIFT) Designing Women award winner, Rosemary has collaborated with leading producers, directors, and writers such as Ed Burns, Darren Star, and Nancy Meyers. Her work has been featured on major networks and streaming platforms such as NBC, Netflix, Hulu and Amazon. Notable projects reflect Rosemary’s versatility including Ed Burns’ Bridge and Tunnel; NBC’s heist drama The Endgame starring Morena Baccarin; long-running comedy-drama Younger; Netflix original comedy Friends from College and police procedural White Collar. THE FAMILY MCMULLEN is Rosemary’ s SIXTH film with Ed Burns. Previously, they most recently worked together on The Millers in Marriage.

 

Audrey Rosenberg (Moderator) is a Peabody-Award-winning and Emmy-nominated filmmaker known for her ability to cultivate talent, develop material and champion projects from inception through to release. She has recently been focusing on writing and directing in both the documentary and narrative space. Audrey has a unique ability to remain outside the Hollywood system while also working within it to promote authentic storytelling and to advocate for projects that deserve visibility. Audrey co-founded Invisible Pictures, a NY-based woman-led production company. For Invisible, Audrey was lead producer and co-writer on the award-winning HBO Original documentary KATRINA BABIES that premiered at Tribeca 2022 in competition and aired on HBO August 2022. She produced the award-winning film BULL, which premiered at Cannes 2019, Executive Produced the series SOUL CITY (with directors Coodie&Chike) which premiered on Topic in April 2020, and produced the feature LONG WEEKEND, which was released by Sony in March 2021. Audrey is an EP on Sandi Dubowski’s highly anticipated SABBATH QUEEN which world premiered at Tribeca 2024 and has had a worldwide theatrical release. Other credits include EP (with Steven Soderbergh) on the Emmy-nominated HBO documentary HIS WAY, and EP on HBO’s Emmy-winning BY THE PEOPLE: THE ELECTION OF BARACK OBAMA (with Edward Norton). Audrey was part of the producing team on Douglas McGrath’s INFAMOUS (starring Sandra Bullock, Daniel Craig, and Toby Jones). She produced Sean Gullette’s award-winning feature, TRAITORS, Co-EP’d Dawn Porter’s award-winning TRAPPED and was Consulting Producer for Raoul Peck’s multi-award winning and Academy-Award nominated I AM NOT YOUR NEGRO. Audrey’s films have been exhibited at prestigious festivals including Cannes, Venice, Sundance, Tribeca, Toronto, Telluride. She is a member of the Television Academy, Producer’s United, and serves proudly on the board of NYWIFT.
