Road to Muse: Honorees Wanda Sykes & Maggie Gyllenhaal

Join New York Women in Film & Television on Dec 11, 2014, at the New York Hilton, to honor actors Wanda Sykes and Maggie Gyllenhaal, script supervisor Mary Bailey, Condé Nast Entertainment President Dawn Ostroff, and filmmaker, philanthropist, and activist Abigail Disney, at the nonprofit’s annual Muse Awards.

Wanda Sykes, an Emmy Award winner, has appeared in several TV shows, including Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Chris Rock Show, and Amazon’s Alpha House, as well as in her own late-night talk show, The Wanda Sykes Show. Sykes is an executive producer of Last Comic Standing and Wanda Sykes Presents Herlarious.

 

Oscar nominee Maggie Gyllenhaal has appeared in such films as Hysteria, Crazy Heart, The Dark Knight, and the 2014 comedy-drama Frank. Gyllenhaal currently stars in SundanceTV’s spy-thriller series The Honourable Woman.
