Make Sure Not To Miss:  Afternoon Delight, now playing at the Sunshine Theater. Directed by Jill Soloway and executive produced by Chicken & Egg’s Julie Parker Benello, this film won the Sundance Film Festival’s Dramatic Directing Award.

Recently Read: a Variety article on the best-actress race for the Oscars. Seems that in spite of the dearth of complex roles for women, there are some great “Oscar contenders” this year.

Congratulations To: Perry Miller Adato, who is being honored by the Paley Center on September 16th. This Emmy and four-time Directors Guild of America Award–winning documentary filmmaker has had her 16 documentary films recently been added to the Paley center collection.
