Committees form the engine of the organization and play an important role in achieving an effective and progressive organization. Committee members are a vital part of operations and keep the organization running and growing. Archive Project
Documents and preserves women's contributions to New York's film, television, and new media industries since NYWIFT's inception (1977), through producing video/oral histories of women in the field.

Film Finishing Fund
Solicits in-kind donations from New York post-production facilities for the Women In Film Finishing Fund. The fund, sponsored by the Women in Film Foundation, provides completion funding and in-kind contributions to independent producers and nonprofit organizations.

Interactive Communications Committee
Interactive Communications Committee oversees NYWIFT's internal and external marketing, communications, and advocacy. Also finds ways to use "Web 2.0" ideas to serve the Organization and its members through content development, social networking, etc.

Screenplay Reading Roundtable
A joint project with the New York Coalition of Professional Women in the Arts and Media, this project provides the opportunity for informal, round table readings of your script by experienced actors, and directed by an experienced director, in front of a limited number of guests that you invite.
