Sarah Dorman Sveen is an independent producer based in Brooklyn. She’s thankful for film as a way to try to make sense of our world and what it means to live in it, from the hilarious, to the heart-breaking.

Full Bio
Sarah Dorman Sveen (she/her) co-produced Jamie Sisley's debut feature, STAY AWAKE, which had its world premiere at the 2022 Berlinale where it won the AG Kino Gilde Auteur Award. Starring Chrissy Metz, Wyatt Oleff and Fin Argus, the feature is an expansion of the Slamdance Grand Jury Prize-winning short film of the same name, which Sarah produced, and which premiered at the 2015 Berlinale.

Coordinating in the film department at the Mark Gordon Company, she supported the teams behind THE NUTCRACKER AND THE FOUR REALMS, SAND CASTLE and MOLLY'S GAME. While at Endgame Entertainment, she supported the teams behind COME SUNDAY and THE OLD MAN & THE GUN. She is a Film Independent Producing Fellow, Alfred P. Sloan Grantee, and is currently an adjunct professor at the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema at Brooklyn College. Sarah holds a BA in English from Mount Holyoke College and an MFA in Film from Columbia University, and lives in Brooklyn with her husband Tom and their plants.
