Volga Calderon is a film and television producer based in New York and Istanbul. Volga has produced a variety of non-fiction television formats for ABC, Bravo, MTV, Oxygen, AMC, VH1, Style Network, and others. She also produced film projects in the United States and Turkey and worked with Ismail Merchant and James Ivory at Merchant Ivory Productions. Through Dadas Film, Volga also co-distributes Law of the Border a classic of Turkish cinema with Martin Scorsese s Film Foundation.

Volga serves as a Chairperson of the Producers Guild of America East Mentorship Committee. She also serves as member in PGAs Women s Initiative Network and serves on PGAs Diversity, International, Documentary and Green Committees.

Volga acquired her passion for filmmaking and storytelling as a young child, sneaking into mature movies at her father s theater. To this day, she still loves watching stories on a big or small screen but she has a soft spot for horror films.
