Beckey spent over two decades at The Wall Street Journal, where she shaped the newsroom’s digital presence and helped guide its evolution into a multiplatform news organization. She played a key role in scaling The Journal’s video efforts — from defining editorial standards to overseeing production and programming across breaking news, features and series. Beckey earned her B.A. from Indiana University Bloomington and her M.S. in journalism from Columbia University.
