Full Bio
After a solid and much-loved career in advertising agencies, writing TV and radio commercials, Susan segued to fiction, plays, librettos, lyrics, and musical theater. Her works include: Once Upon a Time in New Jersey (book and lyrics);
Iron Curtain (libretto); Angelina Ballerina (book and lyrics); Fancy Nancy (book and lyrics); TRIPLETS, A Play In Three Births; the revised libretto to the George
Abbott/Dorothy Fields/Arthur Schwartz musical, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn; and I Loved You The Longest (a play). Other writing credits include: book and lyrics for The Clear Channel/Mattel production of Barbie Live! In Fairytopia; Pinocchio, a Family Musical About Adoption; and the romantic thriller The House Next Door, a recent New York Times Best Seller, written with James Patterson. Susan has given presentations on How To Make A Presentation. She has taught classes in creative writing for both children and special-needs adults.
