Natasha Jelenich

(She/Her)
Producer
Growing up in Serbia, I was always fascinated with American film and television. I attended college at the Florida International University, where I studied psychology and theatre. Soon after graduating, I moved to New York City.
My career in production started on the sets of TV commercials as a production assistant. In 2013, I co-founded and ran a boutique marketing production agency for eight years. I developed and managed large and small-scale productions, including TV commercials, long-form branded content, short fiction, and documentary films.
In 2018, I produced a short narrative film, Punta Cana, a winner of an Award of Merit, Special Mention at the Best Shorts Competition and a Gold Winner at the International Independent Film Awards.
My latest documentary film, Seven Hundred Fifty-Six, currently screening on Nowness.com, is a story about Leah, a woman who works across New York City replenishing PPE kits for various businesses while acclimating to life away from twenty-two years in prison.
