Lisa Rysinger is an author, screenwriter, producer, director, and entrepreneur. Her female-driven feature thriller Dead Water has received two dozen screenwriting accolades, including placing in the prestigious Nicholl Fellowships, and was selected and pitched at the Marche du Film during the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.

Lisa Rysinger is a writer, a producer, and a director across multiple formats. She’s exploring storytelling in feature films, scripted and unscripted television, documentaries, new media, game design, Social Impact Entertainment (SIE), and Virtual Reality (VR/XR). She is always interested in meeting fellow filmmakers, and is open to collaborations both nationally and internationally.
Lisa has been taking meetings with managers, agents, financiers, other producers, and development executives for her feature thriller, DEAD WATER , which was selected and pitched on stage to film financiers and distributors at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival for the Largo Ai event. Lisa is the writer and a producer for DEAD WATER.
Lisa directed the drama film Italian for Dinner, which is currently in post production, through her production company VIDE, a Screen Actors Guild signatory (SAG-AFTRA). She wrote, produced, directed, and is now editing the narrative short to showcase her versatility as a filmmaker.
Lisa is an active member of Women in Film LA, Women in Media, the Alliance of Women Directors, and a lifetime member of the Digital Cinema Society.
