Full Bio
Ela Acur is an actress, writer and producer, was born on June 11th in Ankara Turkey. At a young age, she developed a love for acting and writing which led to her being asked to create and perform in plays alongside her classmates as far back as her elementary school years. In high school, Ela expanded her love for the performing arts by becoming a composer of Digital Dance Music. After completing college in Turkey and receiving her bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering, Ela planned to study Acting more in depth in Istanbul. However, her family and she decided to move to the U.S. in hopes of a new beginning. Ela looked at this move as an opportunity to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a professional Actress.

In U.S. Ela furthered her Education by achieving her Master's degree in Infrastructure and Civil Engineering from George Mason University in Virginia. At the same time, she studied and graduated from The Honors Acting Conservatory in Washington D.C.. Since then Ela has currently been working as an Actress showcasing her talents on both Film and in Theater in NY and D.C..

Her current works include a one-act dark drama play Obsession which she wrote and produced and her first short film A Breakup Anniversary that was filmed in July 2017. Her play was picked by NY Winter Festival and performed at Hudson Guild Theatre in February 2018. Her latest short film The Man which she wrote, produced, directed and acted in is now in post production.
