Barbara Berman teaches Fashion Show Production, Fashion PR and Special Events and the acclaimed Fashion Styling Confidential at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she is department chair for the Fashion Events Certificate in the School of Professional Studies. Barbara has been offering her own fashion show services to designers since the inception of New York Fashion Week. Her clients includes A-listers like Valentino, Calvin Klein, Lacoste and Oscar de la Renta as well as rising stars like Joseph Altuzarra, Creatures of the Wind and Opening Ceremony. Ms. Berman is registered with the Theatrical Wardrobe Union and has been a dresser on Broadway for Mamma Mia as well as many off-Broadway shows and films. She has relationships with NY production companies, PR firms, department stores and designers. Her largest endeavor is Chief of the Costume Crew for the Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade involving 135 dressers and over 5,000 parade marchers. For this work she has been given the coveted R.H.
