I started working in the music business when I was a teenager in college. I started at CBS Records (creative marketing/promotions), was promoted and worked a total of 3 years there. I also got my radio license and was the weekly air-shifter / producer/ engineer for a Public Radio Station slot for 2 years.
I moved to New York City to work in film and television production (Disney, Hollywood Pictures, CBS TV, ABC TV), and to also attend Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute (acting studies).
I went on to work on the business affairs side of the music and media industry - working for BMG Entertainment for 1 year, PolyGram Records for 7 years, and Warner Music Group for 19 years (most recently as Director of Licensing and Royalties - including music media - longform digital videos & synchronization licensing).
Along the way I was performing as a singer in NYC for many years, in a girls group, having performed live on the NBC morning show a few times, at the 30th Anniversary of Woodstock at Bethel Woods (A
