Filmmaker Sher Bautista grew up as a third culture kid in the Middle East and the Philippines. Her work centers on themes of identity, memory, and migration.
She co-produced the award-winning feature Delia and Sammy (CineFilipino 2017) which went on to screen at international festivals including Austin, All Lights India, Ortigia, and Hanoi.

Sher co-wrote the television series The Boston: A Kitchen Musical (2013) and later directed the short film Commune which became a finalist at the 2015 Tropfest film festival.
Aside from her film projects, she is also a published author having co-written the children’s book Tasha and Pierre (2019).

She has just completed her MFA in Film and her thesis film, Tales My Father Told.
