Julie Galdieri: Writer/Producer/Actor Bio


As a writer, Julie Galdieri specializes in creative solutions across diverse media. For more than ten years, she has developed several projects for film, television, and new media, as well as product launches, campaigns, awards programs, and videos. Most recently, Julie was script supervisor for Oprah Winfrey and Ralph Lauren for the event, Ralph Lauren at Lincoln Center. She also just completed writing the pilot for the new radio program NYCentral, featuring Lorraine Bracco, James Earl Jones, and Regis Philbin. In addition, Julie co-created the public television program Trashmasters with the NYC Board of Ed to promote environmental awareness among children and was a writer for the TV/new media project, Q, in association with PBS. Ms. Galdieri has written spec scripts for Will and Grace and is currently a script advisor for several independent film projects.

Julie Galdieri has created and performed dozens of roles in theatre, independent and feature films, and voice-overs. New York credits include Macbeth at The Lion Theatre (Lady Macbeth/Macbeth), The Bacchae (dir. by Andrei Serban & Anne Bogart), The Vagina Monologues (Helen Mills Theatre), Silently, We Gather (La Mama), Applause Is Optional (Westbeth, dir. by Tom OHorgan), Venus & Adonis (HERE Performing Arts Center), Roots in Water (Abingdon Theatre, NY premiere), New York Theatre Workshop, and four seasons with the Lincoln Center Orchestra Society (Alice Tully Hall). Regional credits include Twelfth Night, Taming of the Shrew, Othello, Vampire Lesbians of Sodom, Betrayal, and A Christmas Carol (Trinity Repertory Company).
