Evalena Marie is a NYC-based narrative film writer, director, producer, actor, and co-founder of the independent production company Midnight Cookers.

Full Bio
Evalena first fell in love with filmmaking in 2008 when she teamed up with writer/director Kevin James Barry to produce and act in their first feature film together, Serena and The RATTS. The film took many years of love and devotion to complete, and acquired distribution in 2012. Evalena went on to act in other films for network television before coming back to her childhood love for writing, with her first feature screenplay Among Them, which she produced with partner Barry, the film acquiring distribution and release in 2019.

In 2015, Evalena moved from LA to NYC and co-founded the independent production company Midnight Cookers alongside fellow filmmaker Michael Infante, and has since produced eight short films with the label, as well as getting to direct her first short in 2017.

Evalena currently has three of her own short films in post-production with her first feature as writer/director in development.
