Full Bio
Rosa Arredondo is a multi-hyphenate, native New Yorker, who started her career as a dancer. After being awarded the Alvin Ailey Scholarship she went on to dance with affiliated companies in the U.S., and throughout Europe. She soon transitioned into the acting world and continues to enjoy a career as an Actor.
Most recently she originated the role of John Leguizamo’s well put together sister, in The Public Theater’s premiere of his original play The Other Americans.

WHEN THEY SEE US, BLUE BLOODS, THE EQUALIZER, BLINDSPOT, THE BLACKLIST, and THE GOOD WIFE, to name a few. She has also enjoyed recurring roles on ORDINARY JOE, GONE, opposite Chris Noth, and QUANTICO, opposite Blair Underwood.
Her film credits include Academy Award Winner STILL ALICE, opposite Julianne Moore, THE SECRET ART OF HUMAN FLIGHT, which received a Best Feature nomination at The
Tribeca Film Festival, and Tribeca Film Festival pick, BABY GIRL, by award winning Director Macdara Vallely
Most recently, I proudly shared the stage with John Leguizamo, at The Public Theater’s world premiere of his original play, THE OTHER AMERICANS. Other stage credits include Emily Mann’s Broadway Revival of A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE.
Rosa Arredondo co-founded STEPSISTER PRODUCTIONS with her childhood friend, and later established her own company, SEVEN SISTER PRODUCTIONS. Both ventures were created to provide a platform for voices seldom heard and tell stories from the female perspective.
Rosa wrote, produced and starred in her solo show, I WALKED ACROSS THE OCEAN
FLOOR, which premiered OFF Broadway at Royal Family Productions, and starred in JACK AND JILL, which won a Best Short Nomination at the Female Eye Film Festival, in Toronto.
