Nicki Reidy is an accomplished media executive with nearly two decades of expertise at the intersection of content, compliance, and creative standards. She has just joined Versant Media as Director of Content Operations and Standards and Practices, where she leads content governance and operational strategy for the growing media company.
Nicki brings a rare combination of editorial instincts and regulatory rigor to every role. Most recently, she served as Director of Standards & Practices at Peacock, NBCUniversal's flagship streaming service, where she built the S&P department from the ground up establishing policies, rating frameworks, and compliance protocols for one of the most ambitious direct-to-consumer launches in recent media history. She was also a key voice in ensuring content was reviewed through a diverse, equitable, and inclusive lens.
Prior to Peacock, Nicki spent six years at Fox Networks Group overseeing Standards & Practices across original and acquired programming, followed by her time with Viacom/MTV Networks, where she managed S&P across the full portfolio of brands from Nickelodeon, MTV and Comedy Central to VH1, Logo, Spike, TV Land, and CMT.
She defines her career with the ability to build bridges between creative teams and legal departments, between advertisers and programmers, between editorial vision and regulatory compliance. She is known for finding win-win solutions in complex, high-stakes negotiations and for bringing clarity and calm to fast-moving production environments.
